Camel Jockeys

While living in Oman we were were able to attend a few Camel Races. I was surprised to see that the Jockeys were young children. Upon inquiry I learned that although the United Arab Emirates had banned child jockeys in 2002 and now used robotic jockeys, Oman still allowed children to race. As far as I know it is still legal in Oman.  This race  took place in March 2009 outside of Sohar on the Al Batinah Coast of Oman.
