African Birds: White-fronted bee-eater

Surprisingly I found myself drawn, photographically, more to the birds of Africa than the big game animals… perhaps it had something to do with the vibrant colors…

 

This is the White-fronted bee-eater ( Merops bullockoides). Photo was taken on the Okavango River near Ngepi Camp.
